It uses the same proven POS-516 design as our N95 model, with the same 15.6-inch touchscreen, ports and fanless body, but with 12th Gen Intel Core i3/i5 processing inside. For multi-counter retail stores, busy QSRs, supermarkets and hotels, it is a POS machine that offers high performance at a superior value.

What is a POS system, and where does the POS-516C fit in?
A point of sale (POS) system is the hardware and software a business uses to bill customers, take payments and keep track of sales. The POS-516C is the hardware: a touchscreen computer with ports for printers, scanners, cash drawers and a customer display for POS. It works with the billing software you choose.
Does the POS-516C have a fan?
No. A copper heat sink keeps it cool, so it runs silently and draws in less dust. It is rated to work between 0°C and 45°C.
Should I choose the Core i3 or the Core i5 model?
For most shops, and for a restaurant billing machine, the Core i3 is plenty. Go for the Core i5 if your counter runs several applications at once or handles a very high number of bills each day.
How is the POS-516C different from the POS-516N?
They share the same touchscreen, design, ports, memory and storage options. The difference is the processor. The POS-516C uses 12th Gen Intel Core i3/i5 for busier counters, while the POS-516N uses the Intel N95 for businesses that want a lower-cost POS system.
What warranty and service support do I get?
The POS-516C comes with a standard 3 years warranty, and you can add an AMC. Service is handled by Essae’s own network across India.
